Tri Point Tour (3PT) is the joint competitive disc golf tour of Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia. Its goal is to provide the best players in MPO, FPO, MJ18 and FJ18 in the region opportunities to compete against each other regularly through the season at well organized tournaments at the best courses in the area. The tournaments have the same registration structure, and the best players in each division will receive prizes at the end of the season. Each year 6 tournaments will be a part of the tour, two in Austria, two in Hungary and two in Slovakia. For each player the better of the point scores from two tournaments in each country counts toward the final division ranking. The tournaments are open for all players and TDs can open additional tournament divisions at each of the tournaments if they decide so. The tour is coordinated by the international 3PT Committee. The detailed tour rules can be found here.

Disc Golf in Central Europe
Disc golf in Central Europe has a long history. The first tournament in Austria was organized already in 1981. Players traditionally play at big tournaments across the region regardless of the country. In 2009 Central European Tour was organized for one year with 4 tournaments. More recently the annual Central European Championship host the best players in the region in a closed invitation only tournament format. The inaugural CEDGC was held in Smolenice in 2016, followed by Sv. Martin (HR, 2017), Kope (SI, 2018), Nový Jičín (CZ, 2019) and Szarvas (HU, 2020). Furthermore, players competed in the international Austro-Hungarian tour. AHT was replaced in 2019 by the new Tri Point Tour with one clear goal - to offer competitive disc golf events in the region though out the whole season. Disc golf is rapidly growing in Central Europe, in 2018 it hosted almost 80 PDGA tournaments, including the PDGA Major in Konopiště and European Championship in Croatia. In 2020 two Euro Tour tournaments are hosted in Central Europe in addition to European Disc Golf Championship 2020. The number of disc golf course grew over 100 with a new course build almost every other week. There are more than 400 PDGA members and more than 2000 active disc golf players. The region is particularly strong in junior and women divisions.
